this tray is wonderful. it goes anywhere; from room to room; and chair to couch to bed. it is great far my personal use ; as well as my business use. I am so glad that I order this. I know it will be so great this summer when I take it outside to the swing also.

I use this for writing letters in my easy chair. Lots of space for storing all my stationary, cards, pens,stamps,eye glasses. I don't recommend this, however,for a food tray as the surface is very slippery and things roll off easily when the tray is moved even when folded flat. There is one groove on the surface that holds a pen/pencil. This would be great for a child arts & crafts.

Nothing to set up except open/set the legs. Sturdy and strong. I use it for reading, making jewelry, bible study.

Drawer is so cool. On the whole, light, handy.
However! Got 2, and one came in with the leg not properly seated. After an hour of trying to put the leg in its place, just gave up. You can see where these legs could be a problem. When you open them into place it's plastic scraping against plastic and you wonder how many times you'll get away with opening them without a problem - let alone getting one that came in bum from the start.
The legs themselves are children-height, though the unit is so light, it's ok that they aren't full seated on the floor - they still help to balance the unit during use.

This is exactly like the photo and is perfect for my use. I wanted something to sit my laptop on while sitting on the sofa. There is nothing sharp on the bottom to hurt the leather and it is the perfet height to get the heavy laptop off my lap. Might buy another one.
