I was very disappointed with this product. The clock had caught my eye because I thought it would be perfect for use in our RV especially when the power is disconnected. When I received the clock I plugged it in and changed the time zone as instructed and the clock worked nicely. Then I unplugged it and replugged it in to see what it would do and it displayed the time as stated it would do. Then I proceeded to put it in the RV. The time came back on nicely. Thought--great--this is going to work, but the next day I checked the clock and the time had disappeared and only the number 1 was lit. I went through the instructions for resetting the clock manually several times. The time came back but it didn't hold. After several more times trying to manually reset the clock the display went blank and never came back on. I called the manufacturer--we did some troubleshooting--but determined that the clock was defective, therefore, I returned the product to Miles Kimball.

Had a clock like this but with blue numbers which were too bright and had to turn the clock upside down at night. Everything about this clock is great but the numbers could be a little bigger so it would be easier to read at night.

Well, it can't be used next to the bed for one reason: The LED display is too bright and can't be dimmed. You can read by this thing. It has a battery backup to reset time in power outage, but the battery doesn't power the display. it has a small and expensive "buton" battery. Would it have been to hard to use a common and more powerful 9 volt battery?

I live in a rural area with frequent short power outages. This clock is great for that. The red display light is quite visible, but not so bright as to illuminate the room.
Unfortunately, it broke after nine months, displaying a time 15 minutes off for a couple of weeks, then one half hour off for a couple of weeks, and then non numeric jibberish. Bear in mind that as a self setting clock, the only adjustment is to pick a time zone, there is no way to incrementally adjust the time.
I like the clock better than the half dozen others I tried, and am willing to give this product a second chance.

Impossible for an old lady to read the dial. Clock is too small.

I live where thunder storms are frequently blowing the power. Knowing the correct time is important and this little guy is right on the money.
