I have used one of these every year for more than 40 years. I keep all appointments written in red and birthdays, anniversaries etc. in black. It is so helpful when I go to the card shop. I like the spacious writing area. The ruler printed in the dater comes in handy many times during the year. Great gift for teens and adults especially with the wide choice of colors and the option of personalizing with a name.

The week listed inside start with Sundays. Some pocket daters start the week with Mondays, which irritate me no end! The only thing lacking is that I would like to have a two-year calendar rather than the one-year. This is 99% perfect for me! I bought one for my husband also.

Without the cover it would look ragged at the end of the year.Whatever you want or need to keep track of I have in this yearly calendar. Just apply white out to a page in the back behind the calendar and add your own headings. (I don't require the Personal Ledger e.g.)
