I used to not buy whole pineapples because it was so inconvenient to core peel and slice them. Now I don't hesitate because with this product it is very simple. The only problem I had was in getting the core out. It is very hard to push it out of the middle of the tool.

I have only used this on pineapple so that question about what its best uses are does not apply to me. But I can say it is awesome for pineapples! I Have always struggled to "peel" and slice a pineapple until I bought this - its just perfect - cut the top off the pineapple, set the slicer on top and twist. Its as easy as that! I love it!

While visiting in Oregon, I had bought a pineapple; a friend introduced me to the pineapple slicer, but couldn't remember where she had bought it; when I got home I saw it in your catalog; I bought one for all my kids (6) for Christmas, we all love it----we all agreed that we hesitated to buy a pineapple very often, before the slicer!

We love pineapple but truly hated to have to take the time to cut away the outer layer and core it.This slicer allows for easy access to delicious fresh pineapple, without the mess.We had a bunch of company for Memorial Day weekend and used the pineapple slicer. Everyone of the women wanted one and to know where I had purchased it.
